About Ljubljana
Where is Ljubljana? Ljubljana situated in the center of Slovenia, is the country’s largest city. Amazingly this capital city only has a population of around 280,000, which is relatively small, but this only adds to city’s charm. It is a capital city, and has everything a modern city should, yet there is feeling you have walking around. It feels rather more welcoming than most of its bigger European counterparts.
It could be said that Ljubljana has very much a monopoly, being the economic, political and cultural centre of Slovenia. Rich in galleries, theaters and universities, it also houses many of Slovenia’s business and financial institutions.
Ljubljana is a beautiful city from the cafés and restaurants either side of city’s many rivers, the wonderful Ljubljana Castle sat on Castle Hill, to the delightful gems located as you wonder the cobbled streets of the old town and market square.
By day culturally, there is more than enough to satisfy even the most stubborn of pallets, and by night, this vibrant multi lingual metropolis comes alive when a wonderful blend of students, locals and international party goers ascending on the many bars and clubs.
They all have one thing in common… Having fun!!
Ljubljana as a city makes the perfect Jamboree location because of the vast amount of tours and extreme and leisure activities on offer. Also the traveling has been reduced, because of the size of the city which makes it easier to pack more into the day. The hotels are of a standard you’d expect of a capital city and the number of bars and restaurants means the choices are endless. More importantly, regardless of your budget, size of group or specific needs of your trip, in Ljubljana, I will only say we can!!
