Travelling by Plane
Prague’s Václav Havel International Airport is the largest and main airport in the Czech Republic for both domestic and international flights.
The airport, which carries around 10 million passengers a year, is located 10 km west of the Prague city centre. There are two runways, 4 terminals and the two cargo terminal and the airport is a major hub for Czech Airlines, Travel Service Airlines and budget flyers Wizz air and SmartWings.
Travelling by Rail
Because of Prague’s central European location, There are many connections with the Intercity train service which serves the main train station in Prague, (Praha hlavní nádraží).
Travelling by Bus
There are also really good connections to Prague by coach or bus from most European cities. One of the more popular coach companies providing such a service is Eurolines.
